Cheryl Waters has been with Busy Day for 5 years, she is an assistant in the infant/toddler room. Before Busy Day she worked as an EMT for Naugatuck Volunteer Ambulance and as an ER Tech for Griffin Hospital. She’s married to Rich and has 3 children, 2 boys and 1 girl. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family. She is involved with her daughters Girl Scout Troop. Cheryl loves “her daycare babies” and treats them as her own

Hi, my name is Dede. I am the head teacher in the infant/toddler room at Busy Day. I have worked in childcare for over 16 years. I have taught many age groups ranging from toddlers ages 1-2, preschool ages 3-4, school age ages 5-6 up to my current age group of infants/toddlers. I have worked in centers in the past and I have also worked as a Nanny.

I love my job. It gives me such satisfaction to watch young minds grow. When I see the spark in a child’s eyes when they finally understand what I have been teaching them; there is no better feeling in the world!

I am working towards finishing my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. I have completed most of my schooling and am working on going back to do student teaching and take one more class- Psychology.

I have a son named Ethan. He is 3 years old and he is my world. I am so unbelievably proud to be his mother! He is so smart and so sweet (when he wants to be, lol)

Working with children has always been my dream. There is no other job that can make my heart smile the way that it does by being a teacher. I love spending my day molding the minds of all of my babies and knowing that one day they will go out into the world and use some of the knowledge that was bestowed upon them by me at such a young age.

My name is Molly and I am the assistant teacher in the infant/toddler room here at Busy Day. I graduated with two associate degrees in 2016. My degrees are in general studies as well as behavioral science. I focused my studies primarily in psychology in areas such as child & lifespan development, social psychology, theories of personality, and abnormal psychology. Although I am not enrolled in classes right now I cannot wait to go back to school and continue my education. I plan to double major in psychology as well as early childhood education. Although this is my first year at busy day, I have always loved working with children to help them learn, explore, and grow. I have always felt that the most important thing one can do is to help nourish the young minds around us. Outside of Busy Day, I spend all of my time with my family and run and online motorcycle salvage business with my boyfriend. . I am a Disney fanatic. My favorites include Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. Practically every room in my house has some type of Disney decoration. In my free time I love to read, write, and be creative.
